Mission Statement

The mission of the City of Monroe’s Health & Safety Program is to reduce both the frequency and severity of accidental losses within our operations. The most important aspect of this program is the humanitarian concerns we hold for our fellow employees and the general public. It is the policy of the City to comply with all federal and state regulations.

Risk Management

The City of Monroe’s Risk Manager handles all claims for personal injury and property damage asserted against the City. In order to file a claim against the City, you must do so by completing and submitting a Citizen Claim Form (PDF) to the Risk Manager by one of the following methods:
