Incident, Arrest and Accident Reports

Public copies of incident and arrest reports may be obtained online at http://sheriff.co.union.nc.us/Summary.aspx, in person between the hours of 8am - 5pm Monday - Friday, or requested by email at arangolan@monroenc.org. Reports cannot be faxed. The following is needed to locate a report: report number, name of person involved or location of the incident, and date.

Accident reports may be obtained for free in person or requested by email. They may also be purchased through CARFAX at CRASHDOCS.ORG for a fee of $5.50.

Fingerprinting

The Monroe Police Department provides fingerprinting Monday through Friday 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m,, no appointment needed. There is a $10 fee (Cash, Check or Money Order) for fingerprinting, which is to be paid to the City of Monroe Customer Service located at 201 E. Windsor Street, Monroe, NC 28112 (building behind the Police Department). A copy of the receipt and a picture ID are required to obtain fingerprints. We do not provide electronic fingerprinting.
