Accident, Incident and Arrest Reports

Accident, incident, and arrest reports may be obtained in person, requested by email at arangolan@monroenc.org or requested via regular mail at Records Division, Monroe Police Department, P.O. Box 69, Monroe, NC 28111. Reports cannot be faxed. The following is needed to locate a report: report number, name of person involved or location of the incident, and date.

Accident reports may also be obtained through CARFAX at CRASHDOCS.ORG for a fee of $5.50.

Fingerprinting

The Monroe Police Department provides fingerprinting Monday through Friday 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. There is a $10 fee (Cash, Check or Money Order) for fingerprinting, which is to be paid to the City of Monroe Customer Service located at 201 E. Windsor Street, Monroe, NC 28112 (building behind the Police Department). A copy of the receipt and a picture ID are required to obtain fingerprints. We do not provide electronic fingerprinting.
