Our Goal

Our goal at Customer Service is to provide reliable, responsive, quality services to the community at the lowest reasonable cost. We will accomplish this through courteous, personal service to meet customers’ unique needs while making Monroe a better place to work and live.

Effective February 6, 2023, City utilities will be operating on a new software system. The utility account numbers will be changed. This will affect payments made by credit card & electronic check. The new account numbers will be on the February bill. If you’d like to make an payment by phone or online in the meantime, please contact Customer Service at (704) 282-4500 to obtain the new utility account number.
