It is National Small Business Week

Dear Business Owners and Community Members of Downtown Monroe,

As Small Business Week approaches, I want to take a moment to express my support for the local businesses that make our downtown area so special. Small businesses are the lifeblood of any community, and they play a crucial role in creating a vibrant and thriving local economy.

Small businesses are not just about commerce, they are also about community. They are places where people can gather, connect and create lasting relationships. They bring character and uniqueness to our city and are a vital part of the fabric that makes our community so special.

Downtown Monroe is home to a diverse range of small businesses that offer everything from boutique shops to local eateries, and everything in between. These businesses contribute to the unique and vibrant atmosphere of our community, and I am proud to support them.

As we celebrate Small Business Week, I encourage everyone to take the time to visit the small businesses in downtown Monroe. Whether you need a gift for a loved one, a bite to eat, or just want to explore the city, there is something for everyone in downtown Monroe.

I want to thank all of the small business owners in downtown Monroe for their hard work, dedication, and commitment to our community. You are the backbone of our local economy, and your contributions do not go unnoticed.

Sincerely,

Matthew Black, Downtown Director
