Historic Monroe Preservation Month Scavenger Hunt Answers

The City of Monroe’s Planning and Development Department has announced the winners of the architecture scavenger hunt, and extended the Historic District photo contest until the end of June.

The winners of the architecture scavenger hunt are Travis Durham and Tracy Stone. Winners should stop by Monroe City Hall at 300 W. Crowell St. and ask for Megan Brightharp or Keri Mendler to pick up their prize.

The raffle prizes included a goodie bag from the Monroe Science Center, including four (4) tickets, a goodie bag from the Monroe Aquatics Center including a gift certificate waiving the joining fee and a 1-month family membership, downtown dollars, and the winner’s choice of Monroe Historic Print puzzle!

The architecture scavenger hunt featured seven historic properties in the City of Monroe. Participants visited each location and took note of the address and name of the historic building. Those who got all locations correct were entered into a drawing to win prizes.
