Emergency Water Main Repair & Highway 74 Lane Closures
Two travel lanes are closed along the westbound side of Highway 74 from Campus Park Drive to S. Sutherland Ave. due to an emergency water main repair.
A contractor has damaged a 12” water main at 791 E Roosevelt Blvd. The break is in front of the Food Lion & Truist Bank across from Atrium Health Union.
The repairs will take approximately 10-12 hours to complete.
Nearby businesses may experience a change in pressure/flow due to multiple valves being isolated for repairs to begin. We will provide updates throughout the repair process.
