2023 Air Show Program

The City of Monroe is pleased to announce the 2023 Warbirds Over Monroe Air Show featuring Tora! Tora! Tora! The Reenactment of Pearl Harbor will be held November 11 & 12 at Charlotte-Monroe Executive Airport (3900 Paul J Helms Drive).

Join us Veterans Day weekend for the most action-packed air show in the region as we honor the men and women who served in our U.S. Armed Forces.

This year’s air show will feature dozens of planes from the World War II era and beyond, most of which will be on display before the aerial portion of the show!

A special Veterans recognition program will take place at show center stage on Saturday.

“We are excited to once again bring history alive through our planes in the air and on the ground,” said show organizer Pete Hovanec. “Aside from honoring our Veterans, the Warbirds Over Monroe Air Show allows the significance of many of these forgotten pieces of aviation and US history to be shared across generations in a way that is respectful, fun and exciting.”

The air show will also have 30+ vendors on site with food and drink options, along with military memorabilia, nonprofits and other vendors.
