The Monroe City Council has decided to implement the recording of video and audio for future planning board meetings in a proactive effort to provide residents with broader access to these important meetings.

These recordings will be promptly posted on the City's official YouTube channel within 24 hours of each planning board meeting taking place.

This accessible online platform allows residents to view the recordings at their convenience, providing a valuable resource for those unable to attend the meetings in person or who wish to revisit specific discussions.

Over the past few months, planning board meetings have witnessed increased engagement from our valued residents, reflecting a growing interest and concern for the development and future of our city.

With these recordings, the City Council aims to promote greater understanding, involvement, and awareness of the issues discussed and decisions made by this vital committee.

City Council remains dedicated to upholding the principles of transparency and accountability and will continue livestreaming City Council meetings on the City's YouTube channel, as it has done previously.
