The City of Monroe Water Resources Department will be doing routine maintenance repairs to the dam at Lake Lee in the coming weeks. Lake Lee will be lowered temporarily to allow for these repairs, which should be complete by mid-February.
Lake Lee is currently closed for the season; there should be no boating or fishing activity taking place. This notice is to keep our neighbors around Lake Lee advised that they will notice the lake level drop, but that will not affect them. Our lakes are scheduled to re-open for the season in March.
