Please click the link below to find the timeline and actions City staff and council have taken with regards to the proposed Unified Development Ordinance and Zoning Map that would replace the current ordinance that dates back to 2003. This timeline shows the City’s efforts to educate, inform and offer participation in the process as well as the City’s dedication to meeting all legal requirements. In addition to the outlined efforts, staff have fielded numerous calls and have had many meetings and discussions with residents to ensure clarity and discuss the process and need for this living document. This is a much-needed tool for the future growth and development of Monroe, and countless hours have been put into the development of this document.
