A portion of North Charlotte Avenue will be closed temporarily on Thursday, Oct. 1 in order to accommodate CSX railroad maintenance operations. CSX will be running a regulator across the trellis, which will kick rocks off the bridge and create potential traffic hazards. North Charlotte Avenue will be closed from North Church Street to I.B. Shive Drive between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Traffic will detour to Skyway Drive and back to North Charlotte Avenue with signs placed for guidance.
