The Monroe Fire Department proudly hosts an annual summer camp specifically tailored for young people aged 11 to 14, taking place every June. Named after the founding year of Monroe Fire, the camp delivers an action-packed four-day program filled with immersive fire-related activities and dynamic team-building exercises. Each year, the camp integrates collaborative initiatives with various emergency services, amplifying the impact of the experience. Our goal for the camp is to ignite a passion for careers in fire and emergency services among younger generations, while enriching their knowledge of fire and life safety skills. Registration for the camp opens in April, offering a free opportunity for up to 48 campers to participate.
