The Essential Function of Community Maintenance
The City of Monroe's Community Maintenance technicians perform a variety of maintenance tasks including chipping tree limbs and brush, removing stumps, mowing grass, treating weeds, and related groundskeeping tasks as necessary.
A large portion of time is spent in the removal of trash from the right-of-way and City-owned properties, bulky waste removal from house clean-outs, illegal dumping, and removal of illegal signs throughout the city.
