The City of Monroe's Water Resources Department is planning a water main shut down on Saturday, November 30, 2024 beginning at 4:00 a.m. along Airport Road.
This shut down is necessary to repair a water main that is currently leaking on a fire line.
Water service for affected customers will be temporarily cut off for approximately 7 hours.
Water Resources will attempt to restore service as quickly as possible.
Once service is restored, you may experience some discoloration or air in your water service. If so, please run your water for a little bit to see if that helps clear it up. If it does not clear up, please call 704-282-4601 and a City of Monroe Water Resources Representative will investigate the problem as quickly as possible.
