The City of Monroe Water Resources Department will be closing N. Stewart Street from W. Crowell Street to W. Jefferson Street for water main construction beginning Monday, October 21.
This section of street is part of the one-way drive next to Monroe City Hall. The Union County Collections Drop-Off box will be inaccessible while construction takes place from 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. N. Stewart Street will reopen to vehicle traffic from 5:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. Please follow any detour signs.
The closure will be in effect from Monday, October 21 through Wednesday, October 23, from 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
