Monroe is a City in motion and continues to grow. It is our goal to keep the public informed of all new development projects coming to Monroe. A condition district rezoning development consisting of 77 single family detached lots to be constructed on 26.07 acres. Located off Waxhaw Highway.

Arborwood

A by-right development consisting of 105 single family attached lots (townhomes) to be constructed on 20.292 acres. Located between Patton Avenue and Commerce Drive.

Ashton Park (CD Olive Branch)

A conditional district rezoning consisting of 81 single family homes to be constructed on 39.04 acres. Located along Olive Branch Rd.

Autumn Drive Extension

A by-right development consisting of 23 single family detached lots to be constructed on 14.46 acres. Located off Olde Town Road/Autumn Drive.

Blair Place

A by-right development consisting of 38 detached single family lots to be constructed on 52.30 acres. Located along Fowler Secrest Road.

Blue Sky Meadows

A conditional district rezoning consisting of 360 single family homes to be constructed on 119 acres. Located along Concord Avenue.

Braemar Village

A conditional district rezoning consisting of 90 single family attached lots (townhomes) to be constructed on 12.9 acres. Located along N. Charlotte Avenue.

Calico Ridge

A condition district rezoning development consisting of 113 single family detached lots to be constructed on 52.03 acres. Located off Poplin Road.

Cedar Meadows

A condition district rezoning development consisting of 155 single family detached lots to be constructed on 80.15 acres. Located off MLK Blvd.

Cottage Green

A condition district rezoning development consisting of 218 single family detached lots to be constructed on 75.96 acres. Located off Pageland Hwy/601 South

Cottage Green II

A condition district rezoning development consisting of 259 single family detached lots to be constructed on 85.95 acres. Located between Pageland Highway and Old Pageland-Monroe Road.

Dogwood Forest

A condition district rezoning development consisting of 21 single family detached lots to be constructed on 7.52 acres. Located off John Moore Road and Hickory Grove Rd.

Eagles Rest

A Planned Unit Development rezoning consisting of 670 single family detached lots to be constructed on 340.51 acres. Located along US HWY 601 and White Store Rd.

Founders Point

A condition district rezoning development consisting of 94 single family detached lots and 59 single family attached (townhome) lots to be constructed on 36.23 acres. Located off W. Highway 74.

Gordon Place

A by-right development within the Concord Avenue Overlay District consisting of 20 single family attached homes (townhomes) to be constructed on 2.78 acres. Located at the intersection of Secrest Short Cut Road and Hice St.

Kellerton Place

A condition district rezoning development consisting of 89 single family detached lots and 137 single family attached (townhome) lots to be constructed on 58.27 acres. Located off Deese Road.

Medlin Forest

A condition district rezoning development consisting of 68 single family detached lots to be constructed on 28.11 acres. Located off Medlin Road.

MLK & Lancaster

A Planned Unit Development rezoning consisting of 86 single family detached lots to be constructed on 43.79 acres. Located along MLK Blvd and Lancaster Ave.

Piedmont Buggy Factory

A conditional district rezoning consisting of 56 apartment units to be constructed at the Historic Piedmont Buggy Works Factory along Miller St.

Poplin Grove

A conditional district rezoning development consisting of 126 single family detached lots to be constructed on 51.5 acres. Located off W. Unionville-Indian Trail Road.

Redwood Apartment

A conditional district rezoning consisting of 119 attached multi-family units to be constructed on 23.17 acres. Located along Secrest Price.

Riverstone

A Condition District rezoning consisting of 564 single family homes as well as a commercial area to be constructed on 173 acres. Located along Poplin Road and Rocky River Road.

Rocky River Crossing

A condition district rezoning development consisting of 360 apartment units and commercial space to include indoor storage facility and a hotel to be constructed on 27.53 acres. Located off Lacee Paige Rd. in the southeast corner of N. Rocky River Rd. and the Monroe Expressway.

Scotch Meadows

A conditional district rezoning consisting of 162 single family homes to be constructed on 47.4 acres. Located along Olive Branch Rd.

Secrest Landing

A conditional district rezoning consisting of 172 attached townhomes to be constructed on 30.48 acres. Located along Secrest Short Cut Rd.

Simpson Farms

A conditional district rezoning consisting of 194 single family detached lots to be constructed on 71.84 acres. Located along Secrest Shortcut Rd.

Stallings Brook

A conditional district rezoning development consisting of 142 single family detached lots to be constructed on 77 acres. Located off Unionville-Indian Trail Road and Ridge Rd.

Stewarts Crossing

A conditional district rezoning development consisting of 169 single family lots to be constructed on 89.84 acres. Located off Secrest Short Cut Road.

Stratford

A conditional district rezoning consisting of 207 single family detached lots constructed on 96.21 acres. Located off Ridge Road.

Sun Oaks

A conditional district rezoning consisting of 154 single family detached lots to be constructed on 78.97 acres. Located on Oakland Drive near Sunset Drive

Sutton Place Townhomes

A conditional district rezoning consisting of 81 single family attached townhomes to be constructed on 10.02 acres. Located on Sutton Place near Venus Street.

The Ridge at 601

A condition district rezoning development consisting of 215 townhomes, 307 apartment units, and commercial outparcels to be constructed on 58.13 acres. Located off Hwy. 601 & Ridge Rd.

Timber Ridge (Waverly)

By-right development consisting of 25 single family detached lots to be constructed on 16.289 acres. Located on Waverly Drive.

Veronica Springs

A conditional district rezoning consisting of 200 single family homes constructed on 104.34 acres. Located along Secrest Short Cut Road.

Villages at Rocky River - West

A conditional district rezoning development consisting of 295 residential units (107 single family attached townhomes, 79 single family detached lots, 81 village cottage lots, & 28 lofts) and 98,178 square feet of commercial space to be constructed on 80.518 acres. Located at the northwest corner of N. Rocky River Road and Weddington Highway.

A conditional district rezoning consisting of 184 single family detached lots to be constructed on 55.07 acres. Located at the northeast corner of N. Rocky River Road and Weddington Highway.
