The City of Monroe’s Water Resources Department will soon install 7,500 linear feet of 12-inch force main in the area of N. Rocky River & James Hamilton roads.
The force main will be installed along an existing sanitary sewer right-of-way to serve the newly upgraded Unionville-Indian Trail Pump Station.
Site work is currently underway to prepare for the project. Once the site work is complete, construction activities will begin and last approximately 60 days. Construction is anticipated to be complete by October 2024.
This project will not require road closures, but some minor traffic stops due to equipment crossing over N. Rocky River and James Hamilton roads may occur.
