Due to COVID-19 and state restrictions, the City of Monroe has decided to cancel the annual Monroe 4th of July Celebration.
The safety of our residents and visitors is our primary concern. We hate that we have to make this decision, but we cannot put on an event that will draw several hundred people to an area where social distancing is virtually impossible. The decision to cancel this event was made only after deep consideration and thought.
