Belk Tonawanda Park, Don Griffin Park, Dickerson Park and the Bearskin Creek Greenway are closed for the remainder of the day Thursday, August 8 due to extensive flooding from Tropical Storm Debby.
The City of Monroe encourages all residents to prioritize safety as Tropical Storm Debby makes its way through our area.
If you plan to drive today, please keep the following in mind:
- Turn Around, Don’t Drown: Do not drive through standing water.
- Watch out for downed trees and power lines.
- If traffic lights are out, treat the intersection as a four-way stop.
