Monroe Science Center is proud to offer Explore Passes in partnership with Union County Public Library! These passes give Union County residents the opportunity to check out admission tickets to exciting destinations within the county, including the Monroe Science Center.
How It Works
Union County (UC) residents with a valid UC library card (adult and teen cardholders) can check out Explore Passes for a seven-day period. When you visit the Monroe Science Center, simply present your pass at the front desk, where it will be collected. No need to worry about returning it to the library; we’ve got that covered!
Each Explore Pass grants admission for up to four guests. If you’re planning to bring extra members in your group, additional tickets can be purchased directly at check-in. Once your wristbands are issued, you’ll have the flexibility to come and go from the Science Center until 4:00 p.m. To plan your visit, check out the Plan a Visit page on our website for current hours and open days.
How to Reserve Your Explore Pass
Reserving an Explore Pass is simple! Call any library location or speak to a library staff member during your next visit. Once your pass is ready for pickup, you’ll receive a text or email notification. Passes can be collected from the Main Library in Monroe.
Make It a Day to Remember
Why not turn your trip to the Science Center into a full day of fun? Start by visiting the library to grab a great book for later, then head over to the Science Center for an afternoon of discovery. Take a lunch break at one of Monroe’s many coffee shops or restaurants, then return to the Science Center to wrap up your adventure. It’s all possible with your wristbands!
