Downtown Monroe is launching a Veterans Banner Program giving residents the opportunity to purchase a banner that will proudly display their favorite Veteran’s image in Downtown.
This program is designed to honor the service and sacrifice of our local veterans.
The Downtown banners will be seen by potentially thousands of people from the 3rd week of September through the 3rd week of November.
Each banner will display the name and photo of a veteran, along with their branch of service and time served.
There is a $50 fee per banner, with a maximum of 65 banners available.
Applications are open now and will be considered on a first-come, first-served basis. The deadline for submission is 3 p.m. August 22, 2023.
