Loose Leaf Collection Schedule

Loose Leaf collection will resume on November 3, 2025, and continue through February 27, 2026.

Loose Leaf Collection Participation Guidelines

Follow these guidelines to participate in the City’s loose-leaf collection program:

  • Pile your leaves behind the curb and not in the street.
  • Do not block bike lanes, sidewalks, fire hydrants, mailboxes, storm drains, or water meters, and do not put leaves near parked cars. Leaves will not be removed until they are clear.
  • Do not put leaves in plastic bags.
  • Make sure that your leaf piles have no tree limbs or yard debris—they need to go in a yard trimmings collection cart. Pine straw is fine.
  • The City is divided into five zones for leaf collection, and you can find your zone here.
  • Please check our weekly leaf collection page for updates.
  • Put your leaf piles behind your curb within two weeks of leaf collection crews coming to your neighborhood.
    • Note: The pickup timeframe is subject to change due to weather or large volume.
  • Read the Loose Leaf Collection Participation Guide (PDF)
