ONE STOP PERMIT CENTER
The Permit Center Staff is available from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00
p.m., Monday through Friday, to advise you regarding the permits
and approvals you need for building in the City of Monroe
and its jurisdiction. The staff will be pleased to assist
you in filling out required applications. The permit center
staff will also help to insure that all necessary plans and
specifications are included with your applications, and will
advise you concerning the appropriate persons to talk to regarding
any technical questions you may have.
The permit center staff will route your completed applications
to the appropriate departments, and insure that all review
approvals have been obtained prior to releasing permits.
With the permit center staff working to coordinate the process,
many of the permit reviews will take place simultaneously,
thereby shortening your waiting period to obtain permits.
You will be contacted immediately when your permit is ready
for issue.
