Information Services Workstation

  • Responsible for planning, acquiring, administering, and maintaining the City of Monroe's technical infrastructure for supporting the operating departments. The City's infrastructure includes an AS 400, wide area fiber based network, the Nortel PBX with remote fiber shelves, 3COM NBX 5000 VOIP switch and key systems, voice mail, interactive voice response, email, personal computers, and the associated servers, peripherals, switches and software.
  • Design, maintain, and update the City's web presence - www.monroenc.org
  • Provide Geographic Information Systems (GIS) support for the departments and the public.
