The Monroe Country Club, located on Hwy 601 South offers 18 holes of golf with some of Union County's finest scenery as the backdrop. The land for the club was donated by 50 charter members in the 1930's. The original course included 9 holes designed by golf legend, Donald Ross.

Pro Shop
The club operates a well-equipped Pro Shop with very reasonable priced clubs, bags, shoes, shirts, balls, and just about everything you need to play the game. Future plans include indoor seating for the Pro Shop's snack bar.

Clubhouse
The grand Clubhouse was built in 1936 and has been renovated recently. The ballroom, with fireplaces at opposite ends and a gorgeous chandelier mid-floor can accomodate 200 people for a sit down affair. Whether you're hosting a wedding, family reunion or golf event, The Monroe Country Club offers a stylish atmosphere at an affordable price
